Global Energy Manager

Our client is a multinational company in business for over 100 years, designing and manufacturing high-tech systems and components for the automotive sector.

Position’s goal:

  • promote and lead an efficient Energy Management
  • Decarbonization Program with the aim to get a Greener World
  • comply with Energy Sustainability targets of the Company.

Your responsibilities:

  • Monitor Energy Division KPIs in line with Corporate procedures (30 plants across the Globe)
  • Energy KPI deviations and gap analysis, with Countries and plants, to define recovery plan to achieve Company KPIs
  • Monitoring of the Energy Consumption and CO2 Emission reduction plan accordingly to Sustainability targets
  • Cooperate with Regions, Countries, plants and lead the energy related activities at a global level
  • Data collection and consolidation for Internal and External disclosures as Energy and Sustainability Reporting, Carbon accounting, Customer request
  • Assure the implementation of the Energy Pillar
  • Assure the implementation of Standards Guidelines and Practice to Plant Building and Utilities Modification and /or Expansion implementation
  • Identify and comply with local laws & regulation related to Energy Management
  • Define and lead energy efficiency & decarbonization projects from feasibility study till final implementation
  • Collect and spread the best practices across the Countries and plants
  • Actively propose with information, dissemination, training, investigation and study, development of new tools for energy management

Skills:

  • Energy Performance Controls: knowledge of key elements of this type of contracts and experience of application on some projects
  • Decarbonization: use of renewable energy, replacement of fossil fuels with bio-fuels or others, electrification of production and utilities equipment using fossil fuels
  • Energy efficiency solutions for all main energy carrier (electricity, hot and cold water, compressed air, conditioning) including savings model definition
  • Capability to analyze data and energy performances
  • Power Purchase Agreement contracts both on site and off site (including virtual PPA). Knowledge of different types available on the market including working models (main advantages and constraints)
  • Energy Management Systems ISO 50001
  • Knowledge of Climate Change science and Global Reporting Initiative Standards
  • Green energy solutions and related certification methods at worldwide level
  • Energy Modeling capability for each energy carrier including correlation level evaluation
