Shopper & Customer Marketing Manager

Location: Warsaw (hybrid)

Our Client is an international Family owned Company founded – one of the world leaders in the tissue paper production market for hygienic and domestic use: toilet paper, napkins, kitchen paper, handkerchiefs and tissues.

Key challenges:

  • Proposes and implements the Category strategies according to the business priorities 
  • Proposes the Marketing Plan, and the various Customer Action Plan, cooperating with the Line Manager and the Brand Central Marketing Dept 
  • Ensures that the marketing objectives are achieved and the operational marketing strategies, consequent and aligned with the Corporate and Area guidelines, implemented, in particular through the development and optimization of the positioning in the channels under its responsibility. 

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Line Manager in the definition of business priorities 
  • Drafts the annual Marketing Plan according to the business priorities and the Central Marketing targets 
  • Liaises with the Central Marketing for implementing the right strategies in order to achieve the targets 
  • Shares market information (market & channel trends, competitors, customers, consumers, shoppers…) to facilitate decision making process 
  • Provides the Central Marketing with recommendations about product & innovation map 
  • Together with the Line Manager defines the partnership programs according to the agreed Joint Business Plan’s and in line with the Marketing and Customer plans 
  • Defines the overall promotional strategies, assortment and shelf share enlargement strategies & priorities 
  • Drives state-of-the-art Trade Stories contents to allow Salespeople, achieving the targets in terms of WD, to share Group’s strategies and to help building further partnerships 
  • Drives “go2market” strategies on leaflets, trial promotions, Point of Sales support 
  • Approves the various tailormade consumer promotions, ensuring they match with the business priorities and the customer’s expectations 
  • Defines the in-store & on-line material strategies to improve the products visibility 
  • Provides support to Sales Department, building the priorities from Perfect Store KPI’s 

Candidate profile:

  • Experience of at least 3-5 years in the trade marketing / catman function 
  • Good knowledge of category management, trade marketing, sales & marketing in FMCG / consumer goods industry 
  • Negotiation techniques and ability to influence 
  • Ability to manage people, direct them with authority and decision, creating a correct and motivating working climate 
  • Commercial & strategic thinking combined with financial acumen 
  • Ability to „read” numbers, interpret them and always have a clear and immediate awareness of them 
  • Good communication, presentation, and problem-solving and planning skills 
  • Creativeness and analytical thinking 
  • Excellent command of English & Polish
