Main tasks:

  • Responsibility for the P&L and activity in Poland, accomplishing the goals of business development and expansion of the company
  • Develop and grow the business in Poland in a profitable way
  • Maintains relationships with new and existing clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and developing new opportunities with a highly effective close process
  • Responsible for commercial development in Poland (offers, signature of project-handling)
  • Deliver on budget, taking care of monthly reporting
  • Ensure strong customer relationships with current customers 
  • Renew and grow ongoing contracts, develops a top-to-bottom customer relationship with decision makers, looking for own business- / products ideas
  • Develop and execute regional strategy in line with corporate strategy that nowadays is shifting into more digital and complete “omnichannel” solutions for the retailers.
  • People management and training
  • Tracking the market trends and potential clients’ needs in order to offer various products & complex solutions
  • Participate in the definition and closure of contracts within the parameters established by the Company
  • Develop local / national suppliers
  • Participate in the preparation of tenders and monitoring the project timeline
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of the requested offers to potential customers
  • Participate and implement the policies of the company in operational, personal and quality
  • Coordination of Legal and Financial services in Poland

The profile of the ideal candidate:

  • Professional career at least in a medium-sized or large company in the following sectors: Competitors, Retail, Lighting, Warehouse Management, Refrigeration and other relevant B2B sales operations
  • Ideally well-connected in the Polish food retail market
  • Proven experience in multidisciplinary team management and project management with proactive and motivating attitude
  • Positive leader’s personal profile
  • Experience in managing and developing a sales organization
  • Global knowledge of the sector (key players, tendencies, etc.)
  • Experience in business development
  • Experience not only selling products but also projects
  • Some experience in digital/software solutions will be valuable
  • Enthusiastic and entrepreneurial attitude, creative and proactive and dynamic
  • Hands on mentality

  • Used to plan and work towards objectives
  • Having experience to create a strategy plan for the Polish market
  • Fluent in English, additional German would be a plus
