HSSE Coordinator

Location: split between Trójmiasto and Gródek

Our Client is a future-oriented industrial company that develops solutions for the storage of sustainable energy and processing medium. With unique working methods and long experience, organization specializes in construction, manufacturing and assembly of customized tanks. The firm has its operations based in Sweden and in Poland and the projects are carried out over large parts of Europe.

Main tasks:

  • training of staff
  • perform HSE related inspections on construction sites, as in workshops
  • be a support to both managers and staff in HSEQ matters
  • perform emergency exercises with staff
  • represent the company as HSE person towards customers
  • support the organization in quality revisions, and -preparations
  • reports to the HSSE manager in SE
  • support the organization in the reporting, investigation and learnings of incidents
  • cooperates with sub-contractors on HSSE issues
  • represent company in all external audits and inspections related to HSSE

The profile of the ideal candidate:

  • some years of experience in HSEQ work, within relevant industry (i.e. petrochemical, chemical, power plants, industrial construction)
  • working knowledge of all legal regulations regarding HSSE in Poland
  • formal qualification for EHS Inspector (higher education in HSSE field)
  • good level of speaking and writing in English
  • have a passion for HSE and Q matters
  • an eagerness to learn new things
  • very good knowledge of using the MS Office programs
  • experience, or a very strong will, to work in an international corporate environment
  • experience in assuring high level of HSE on construction sites
  • structured, supportive and a team player
  • socially skilled, diplomatic and result oriented
  • ability to travel a lot
  • experience in working as HSSE Coordinator on EPC projects will be an advantage
