Interim IT/IS Advisor

Location: preferably 100% in Lublin, no less than 50% of a time

Company:

Our client is family owned business. The company employs around 1000 people and has been operating in 3 main categories of products: Home cleaning, Lavatory care and Air Freshener. As actual IT/IS Director will end his mission at the end of June (retirement), and a person who is nominated for the position has no technological background our client decided to open the interim project for IT/IS Advisor for IT/IS Head

Start date and estimated duration:

preferably on 1.08.2021 no earlier than 1.07.2021 and planned duration is 3- 6 months with app. 10 working days per month (depending on the need)

Main tasks:

Support Head of IT IS in preparation of a new 2-3 years strategy for the IT/IS development
Ensure that Head of IT/IS is well prepared for the introduction and discussion with key vendors
Guidance and help in building the development plan for Head of IT/IS in terms of technology competencies
Audit of the current solutions and performance of IT/IS
Coaching and mentoring of the Head of IT /IS during onboarding process

The profile of the ideal candidate:

At least 10 years of professional experience in the area of IT/IS management
Master’s Degree (preferred in Technology area or related)
Experienced in building and execution of IT strategies for manufacturing companies
Ability to coach and develop of partners and teams
Fluent English and Polish both verbal and written
High business ethics, good communication skills, team oriented work, with strong personal brand and well perceived by the market
Experience in international, manufacturing and dynamic company good understanding to family business DNA
Leader profile: healthy self-confidence, high level of interpersonal skills, influential, able to create a common vision, building partnership relations, coaching skills and potential
High level of entrepreneurship understood as a set of qualities such as proactivity, staying ahead of the market, independence, initiative, focus on the result, etc.
