Our Client is a well-known, multinational company actively offering diversified portfolio of services across different countries. After significant growth (organic and thru M&As) the company decided to transform its operations and back office to build stable foundation for further sustainable development. Perceiving IT as one of key areas, company decided to engage highly skilled, experienced manager to take a role of Divisional IT Executive Director. Selected induvial will report to COO and manage IT departments across a number of countries.

The role:

The main purpose of this role is to:

  • drive technological transformation throughout the multi country organization with differentiated service lines
  • partner with business heads to assure availability of optimal technology and enterprise architecture to enable services delivery and to scale technology

The scope of responsibilities will cover:

  • Managing organization which is in charge for international IT services delivery
  • Leading the design of optimal IT organization model and managing IT transformation
  • Stakeholder management across different businesses and geographies – providing guidance and support in developing and deploying technology
  • Overseeing operational deployment, ongoing management, and maintenance and development of the infrastructure and technology which are used on a cross-country basis
  • Leading the design and defining maintenance framework of optimal enterprise architecture model and the technology infrastructure landscape to enable delivery of business services and the efficient back-office services
  • Managing business applications competency centers which are focused on software development, data analytics addressing innovative technological solutions and the ongoing business needs in this regard
  • Participating in staffing process and development of key / top people in IT

Your profile:

  • Fluent English and Polish
  • At least 20 years of experience gained in IT in highly complex and demanding business (previous experience in commercial or operational roles would be an additional asset)
  • Successful complex IT transformation experience in CIO or similar roles
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders across different levels, countries and businesses, as well as ability to understand different stakeholder needs
  • Ability to balance short-term need with strategic aims
  • Ability to work in a fluid, ambiguous and fast changing business driven environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, business acumen and demonstrated ability to build alignment between technology and business
  • Ability to develop strategies for achieving positive change and improvements amidst ongoing demands and pressures
  • Combination of strategic & holistic perspective with hands on approach and ability to go down to details
  • Change management skills
  • Strong leadership profile – ability to drive positive change within team, inspire, influence and lead others
